Accreditation Enhancement

The Accreditation Enhancement Unit, led by Ts. Dr. Aidil Azli bin Alias, Deputy Director of AQAD, is responsible for coordinating and monitoring academic programme accreditation processes, including programmes involving professional bodies. Under this unit, there are two sub-units: the Accreditation Management Unit managed by Dr. Fatimah A'tirah binti Mohamad and the Accreditation Management Compliance Unit led by Dr. Nurul Syuhada binti Ismail. The unit oversees accreditation planning, application submissions, reassessments, compliance matters, and new certifications in collaboration with Faculties, Institutes, and Centres. It also coordinates internal and external accreditation auditors, manages academic quality assurance policies in line with MOHE and MQA requirements, oversees related committee meetings and accreditation reporting, coordinates benchmarking visits with other institutions, manages accreditation-related risks, and leads the development of COPIA MQA-03 documents and guidelines towards self-accreditation.
